Overview

This is a user interface (UI) case study completed for the UI Specialization module of the
CareerFoundry UX Design Program.

The purpose was to learn and apply visual design best practices in the context of a UX design project.
A brief was supplied with finished design deliverables such as discovery, user research,
persona, and user stories.

This setup helped prepare me for potential future projects where I may again be the recipient of completed deliverables from the initial discovery phase, and would be subsequently responsible for advancing the design.

Business Case

The majority of real estate web apps focus on buying and selling homes where end users to live in.

But, for those interested purely in real estate investment as a wealth-building tool, there are significantly fewer purpose-driven platforms. Thus, a market opportunity exists to cater specifically to investors, especially those who are relatively new or venturing into this asset class for the first time.

Perfect Properties sets itself apart as a hyper-focused real estate investment platform, featuring a series of tools to onboard users efficiently, tailor personal investment profiles, and access educational guidance to achieve success.

The Approach

The Approach

The Approach

I applied a user-centric process using the Design Thinking framework to design a responsive web app using information already supplied in the brief.

For this project I began with task analyses and user flows, and then carried the design all the way through presentation-ready mockups.

Please feel free to explore the project journey in greater detail below.
